Photography and Travel: The Florida Keys

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for a bit of (photography) self-promotion. Why? Because I said so…it’s my blog, so back off. 🙂

A meeting in Miami afforded me the opportunity to do something I’ve always wanted: take the drive from the tip of Florida all the way down to Key West, the literal bottom of the United States. For those who don’t know, the Keys are a series of islands linked by a causeway, so it’s actually possible to drive over maybe a dozen islands in just a couple of hours (I didn’t count, but it’s a lot).

What’s the self-promotion? Have a look at my pics from the trip. The first and the last two are from South Beach in Miami, which we got lucky enough to be able to stop by for an afternoon.
